The Groove Circuit function allows you to effortlessly create remixes by simply pressing the dedicated buttons. This feature lets you swap out the drum parts of a track - even during playback - with different drum loops, transforming them into various genres and enabling you to perform unique remixes with ease. Additionally, you can apply effects to the drum sections to craft fills, build-ups, and breakdowns. By manipulating the drum parts freely, you can deliver innovative and creative live remixes on the fly.

Groove Circuit features:

• Drum Swap: Users can replace the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck, even when playing, with different drum loops at the simple push of a button. To help users enjoy this feature as soon as they unbox the DDJ-GRV6, they can download a free pack of 40 loops in a variety of genres.
• Drum Roll/Trans: Easily create on-the-fly drum rolls, add fills to transitions, and build up tracks by applying the Roll or Trans effect to drum parts.
• Drum Release: Apply Release FX to drum parts to easily and effectively create breakdowns.
• Capture: Extract only the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck and capture them so you can drop them into another track later on.

The DDJ-GRV6 is equipped with large jog wheels, perfect for scratching, along with 8 Performance Pads positioned above the jogs - just like on the flagship Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 multi-player. In the mixer section, you'll also find Beat FX borrowed from the Pioneer DJ DJM-A9. Offering a familiar, club-standard feel, the DDJ-GRV6 allows DJs to perform dynamically by blending expressive scratching with pad and effects techniques, ideal for high-energy club sets.

The new Smart Rotary Selector on the DDJ-GRV6 offers versatile control, with up/down and left/right tilting, along with standard rotation and push functions when using rekordbox for Mac/Windows version 7. The left/right tilt enables intuitive browsing through the media browser, tree view, and track list, while the up/down tilt allows for swift navigation through playlists and collections, helping you quickly locate tracks, no matter the size of your music library. By pressing the Discover button, you can instantly access the Track Suggestion feature, making it easy to rediscover old favourites or explore new tracks.

The DDJ-GRV6 is fully compatible with Serato DJ Pro, featuring a Stems FX option that allows you to express yourself musically by applying effects like Roll, Trans, Echo Out, and Delay to individual Stems of a track - such as drums, bass, vocals, or melody. To enhance usability, the DDJ-GRV6 comes with an overlay sheet that lets you change the button labels to Stems FX for easy of use.
