Electro-Voice EVERSE 8

Electro-Voice presents their first battery-powered loudspeaker, the EVERSE8. The first weatherised model of its type, the EVERSE8 is a truly portable loudspeaker that can be used by musicians, DJs, rental companies, fitness instructors and other professional, amateur and recreational users inside and outside.  Powered by a high-capacity Li-ion battery pack with a battery life of 12 hours, the EVERSE8 is the perfect speaker to take out-and-about with you. Uncompromising sound quality, unplugged.

Developed in collaboration with Electro-Voice’s sister brand Dynacord, the EVERSE8 is driven by a Class-D amplifier and DSP module. With a built in 4-channel digital mixer with studio-quality effects and processing, feedback suppression and audio ducking and 48V phantom power, the EVERSE8 proves to be a powerful speaker unmatched by current comparable products on the market.

With a 12-hour battery life, the EVERSE8 is powered by a custom-designed high-capacity Li-ion batter pack. With built in protection circuitry, the EVERSE 8 battery is protected from discharging to such a low voltage it can no longer be recharged – for example, when kept in storage for long periods of time. The EVERSE8 has also been designed with tool-free screws, meaning removing the battery is effortless.

Take the EVERSE8 outside with you for busking, a backyard BBQ or outdoor physical activities, the EVERSE8 is ready, whatever the forecast. With a weatherised input cover that can be used when running on battery power and Bluetooth® streaming, the EVERSE 8 meets an IP43 rating - meaning it is water resistant from splashes and light rain. With built in no-skid rubber feet, you can be sure that the EVERSE8 stays put.

The EVERSE8's integrated 12V DC port provides power perfect for powering a wireless microphone system. Similarly, a charging port is included for mobile devices for those times when you get caught out when streaming! Use the EVERSE8 at different angles - set long-side as a stage wedge at 55° or project up off the performance area with the 30° kick-back angle. Flexible features for a truly self-contained setup.
