With Clip Safe monitoring levels up to 96,000 times per second, the Scarlett 18i20 automatically adjusts gain to prevent clipping, avoiding unwanted artifacts from hard limiting. This ensures you capture every crucial take, even in high-pressure recording situations like live shows and on-location recordings.

The 18i20 includes a built-in talkback mic, A/B speaker switching for seamless referencing across different monitor setups - including multi-speaker systems - and eight channels of LED bar metering, assignable to inputs, outputs, or master output metering.
