The Pitchblack X is equipped with Korg's newly developed ULTRA BUFFER, an advanced buffer circuit that preserves your guitar’s signal integrity, ensuring it stays true to the original pickup output even when using multiple effect pedals and long cables. For true bypass enthusiasts, it’s easy to switch from ULTRA BUFFER mode to true bypass, allowing you to compare and contrast your signal.

The Pitchblack X boasts more LEDs than its predecessor, enhancing visual resolution for improved visibility. Additionally, the BRIGHT mode puts control in your hands, offering two brightness levels. In brightly lit stages or outdoor settings, you can increase the brightness for easy tuning, no matter the lighting conditions.

In addition to the standard "Regular" display mode, there are three other meter display options to choose from. The "Strobe" and "Half Strobe" modes show pitch changes through the direction and speed of the meter flow, allowing you to detect even the slightest pitch variations. The "Mirror" mode features two LEDs moving towards each other in a pincer motion, converging at the centre of the pedal as you tune.

The Pitchblack X provides exceptionally precise and accurate tuning with a tolerance of ±0.1 cents in Strobe mode, making it perfect for scenarios where perfect tuning is crucial, whether performing or recording. It also features a wide detection range and adjustable calibration.

The Pitchblack X is encased in a durable aluminium housing with a scratch-resistant finish. It runs on 9V batteries, making it ideal for players who don’t use a pedalboard, with the option of a DC adaptor if needed. Additionally, it features a parallel DC9V output to power other pedals.
