Elektron Model:Cycles

Elektron Model Cycles is a six track groovebox with a digital FM engine and a unique approach to sound sculpting. It features a similar lightweight build and intuitive layout to its predecessor, Model Samples. Each track, or ‘Machine’, is dedicated to a different sound, from percussion to chord hits, and though each track in itself is monophonic, Model Cycles is polyphonic in that you can play up to 6 tracks at one time. Its powerful 16 step sequencer can be used to programme in beats, or you can play the velocity sensitive pads like a keyboard if that’s your preference.

You can reshape the Model Cycle’s unique sound palette to your hearts content with the four core Synth Controls that alter the behaviour of each Machine. Want to push your tune to the limit? The "Control All" tool applies a parameter throughout every track for heady, full-frontal results. The Chance knob can be used to inject probability into your beats too which adds a nuanced, evolving feel to your music. This can also be achieved with Elektron’s parameter locks function which allows you to write automation directly into your sequences to subtly (or wildly) vary your beat.
