Not only is the DDJ-FLX6-GT compatible with Rekordbox and Serato DJ, but it also works with Virtual DJ and TRAKTOR PRO 3! The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6-GT is compatible with various DJ software applications, including rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro and is also compatible with VirtualDJ (license available separately) and TRAKTOR PRO 3 by downloading the TSI file. License keys for the Serato FX Pack and Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Pack are included. No matter what DJ Software you use, you can be sure that the DDJ-FLX6-GT will work alongside it!

Echoing a club-standard CDJ + DJM setup, the DDJ-FLX6-GT allows you to perform intuitively. With a new matte grey body and graphite jog wheels, the DDJ-FLX6-GT is both stylish and sophisticated. The large jog wheels with a new rubberised finish on the outer ring make pitch bending and scratching feel natural, and with the On Jog Display, you can keep an eye on the playhead position.

With just one-hand and 10 different scratch patterns, you can make pro-sounding effects within your mixes. Trigger scratch patterns by moving the jog wheel backward and forward with the playhead position point at different angles – there’s no more need for you to touch the crossfader. When you lift your hand away, the track will continue to play as normal from the Hot Cue position.

No matter the BPM or key of the next track, add drama to your set by using the Merge FX feature to mix different styles of music. The oversized Merge FX knob really stands out due to its size & feel and will be your go-to for transitions! Simply press the knob to engage the effect, then turn it as fast or as slowly as you like to start building up the tension in the music. Depending on the effect pattern you’ve chosen, the pitch of the track might start to climb while a snare drum sample is triggered at shorter intervals until you’re ready to drop your next song. When you press the knob again, the effect is released – and if you’ve chosen one in the settings, another sample fires off to end the track so you can simply hit play on the other deck to introduce the next song or genre of music. There are endless possibilities for creating exciting transitions whenever you want.

Sample Scratch is a brand-new pad mode in rekordbox which enables you to choose sounds you’ve assigned to the sampler and load them onto the decks. So, when you want to create a live remix of a track or simply add some texture to the music, you can scratch with your favourite sounds. With Serato DJ or VirtualDJ, you can use the Scratch Bank to trigger samples by hitting Performance Pads. Please note that On Jog Display, Jog Cutter, Sample Scratch, Scratch Bank, and Plug and Play compatibility are not available in TRAKTOR PRO 3.

Pitch bending and scratching feel natural on the DDJ-FLX6-GT thanks to the large jog wheels, which are the same size as those on the flagship CDJ-3000 multi player. Each one features On Jog Display too, perfect for keeping an eye on the playhead position, and the new rubberized finish on the outer ring gives you a much better feeling – especially when pitch bending.
